Under the command of ministry of Education in 1973 the Azad Jammu Kashmir Board was announced as an independent educational board. The Azad Jammu Kashmir Board came into existence in late 19^th century. Before its independence it was under the supervision of Lahore Board.

Now that the Azad Jammu Kashmir Board is an independent board it has the responsibility of conducting exams inside Azad Jammu Kashmir as well as in the districts which come under its supervision. The regions on Which Azad Jammu Kashmir Board has control over are Poonch, Kotli, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Neelum and Bhimber.

The very first exams held by the Azad Jammu Kashmir Board were in 1974, only a year after its foundation. This shows that this board is very well aware of its responsibilities and is very efficient since the beginning. Since then Azad Jammu Kashmir Board is performing its duties very diligently.

AJK Board HSSC Part 1 Result 2019

The first examination held by Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education BISE Azad Jammu Kashmir in 1974 was attempted by more than 1000 students. There were approximately 6161 students in total. Later on the strength of students got larger and larger with every passing year. Now there are millions of students who get enrolled through this board every year.

Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Azad Jammu Kashmir hold Matric and Intermediate exams every year. This year the board conducted the Inter exams in the month of May and April. The result is announced 3 to 4 months after completion of annual exams of the respective level. The Azad Jammu Kashmir Board is currently preparing for the 11th Class Result 2019 BISE AJK Board.
